It feels like a Twilight Zone episode doesn't it? California completely shutdown last night. It's probably going to happen everywhere soon. Truly unreal.
It's true that if you live 70-80 years on the planet, you're going to see some unprecedented change. Imagine being born in 1900. You would learn schoolwork by candlelight, ride a horse and probably not leave the county you were born in until adulthood. By 1970, you witnesses with your own eyes: World War I, Spanish Flu, electricity, radio, telephones, the Great Depression, World War II, penicillin, airplanes, nuclear bombs, people on the moon and space shuttles. Mind blown.
This too shall pass.
